Who We Are
We're the faces behind New Native Photography! We've been photographing since 2016, but in January of 2017 we became New Native. Our ultimate goal with New Native is to be with you for every moment. Your memories-big and small-matter to us, and we are here to make them last forever.
About Our Family
Although we started our journey in photography together in 2016, we've both been involved in this art form since 2011!
Originally an Atlanta Native, Lindsey moved to Birmingham, Alabama to study at Samford University. Joe is originally from Fontana, California but moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 2011. We met through some mutual friends in 2015 and got married in June 2016. In April 2019, we had our son, Judah. He is the funnest little addition to our family!
Our Style
You'll notice as you browse through our social media and website that we prioritize moments over poses. Yes, we do help out a lot with posing and try to incorporate a few shots in each gallery where we have intentionally posed you. But once you're comfortable, we transition into a time where we just let you be. We give gentle prompts and guidance to make sure you look freakin good during those moments and capture the raw emotion from there.
We can't tell you enough how grateful we are that you're here! You matter to us and we are thrilled to have an opportunity to capture highlights in your story.
